Money Advisers Unley has employed Melissa Carman who has a degree in Commerce as the Promotions Manager for Kanoe4Kids, with her wages and costs being borne by Money Advisers Unley. This ensures the donations to Kanoe4Kids are maximised and not eaten up with administration and marketing costs.
Furthermore Money Advisers Unley have assumed all costs between themselves and their business partners (banks, credit unions, Insurance companies, etc) to again maximise donations to kanoe4kids.
Most importantly Kanoe4Kids have set a fund raising target of $100,000. Although we hope to exceed this target, we have based this goal around our core fundraising concepts. That is, For every loan settled by Money Advisers Unley in 2008 they will make a personal donation of $200 to Kanoe4Kids.
Furthermore, under specific partnership arrangements with several of Adelaide's most competitive and leading banks, they will double the donation to $400. Coupled with the money raised by United For A Wish, the donations from Money Advisers Unley should ensure the goal of $100,000 is achieved.
Not only has principal Scott Matthews put his body on the line, he and his company are making a significant financial contribution to Kanoe4Kids and Make-A-Wish® Australia.
